Welcome to my Studio.
Isn't quilting the most fun you have ever had! I have been a quilter for over 30 years now and I still love learning new things, you can read more about me on the About us page.
My business is centered around teaching others about quilting and introducing them to the community of generous and supportive people that I know quilters to be.
When our grandmothers were quilting they gathered together with neighbors and shared information, patterns and bits of fabric with each other. Quilting was a social event and a community effort. Today we have many talented women who are working from their homes designing new quilting patterns and fabrics that keep our quilting efforts easy, fun and enjoyable.
I believe, like my grandmother did, that it is important to support our local community of quilters. Therefore I have created the:
"QUILT DESIGNER ~ BACK YARD NEIGHBOR CAMPAIGN"
if you are a quilt pattern designer or if you know someone who is

During my years as a quilter I have had the pleasure of getting to know many amazing, talented women from all walks of life. Several years ago I read an article in American Patchwork and Quilting. They were asking quilters to submit pink quilt blocks to raise money for breast cancer awareness.
Because I had several women in my family who had been effected by breast cancer, I knew that this was the cause that I wanted to support. Every year since then I have participated in making quilt blocks for Breast Cancer quilts. I have also made two lap quilts to raffle, for the American Cancer Society's "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" walk in October. These quilts raised over $1,000 each towards putting an end to this disease.
It is my intention to honor all women in my life who have been affected by breast cancer. Therefore I pledge to donate 10% of all monies earned from finished quilts to the American Cancer Society's "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer".
